1. About ZolaPages
ZolaPages (zolapages.co.uk) is a directory of African-owned businesses in the United Kingdom. By accessing or using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Using the directory
You may use ZolaPages to:
- Search for and view business listings
- Contact businesses via the enquiry form
- Submit or claim a business listing
- Create an account to manage your listing
You must not use ZolaPages to post false, misleading or fraudulent information, to harass or harm other users or businesses, to scrape or copy listings for commercial use without our permission, or to engage in any activity that violates UK law.
3. Business listings
By submitting or claiming a listing, you confirm that:
- You have the right to list the business (you are the owner or an authorised representative)
- The information you provide is accurate and up to date
- The business is a genuine, operating business
- You will keep your listing information current
We reserve the right to remove, edit, or reject any listing that we reasonably believe violates these terms or our Listing Policy.
4. Pre-seeded listings
Some listings on ZolaPages are created from publicly available information (such as Google Maps data, business websites, and community submissions). These listings are marked as “unclaimed.” If you are the owner of an unclaimed listing, you can claim it free of charge. If you believe a listing contains incorrect information about your business, contact us at support@zolapages.co.uk and we will correct or remove it promptly.
5. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must not share your account with others. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
6. Premium subscriptions
Premium subscriptions are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months. Prices may change with 30 days' notice to subscribers.
7. Disclaimer
ZolaPages is a directory. We do not endorse, verify the quality of, or take responsibility for any business listed. When you contact a business through ZolaPages, your agreement is directly with that business. We are not liable for any transactions, services, or disputes between you and a listed business.
Listings marked “Verified” indicate that we have confirmed business ownership — not quality of service.
8. Intellectual property
The ZolaPages name, logo, and design are our intellectual property. You may not use them without our written permission. Business owners retain ownership of the content they submit to their listings.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
