Common questions

Is this only for Nigerians?

No. We list businesses owned by Africans of any nationality — Nigerian, Ghanaian, Kenyan, South African, Zimbabwean, Ethiopian, Somali, and more. The directory is for the whole African community in the UK.

Is it really free?

Yes. Basic listings are free, forever. We make money from optional Premium subscriptions, sponsored placements, and partnerships — never by charging for basic visibility.

I saw my business on here but I didn't add it. Why?

We pre-seed listings from public information (similar to how Google Maps does) so the directory is useful from day one. If you're the owner, click "Claim this listing" — it's free and lets you edit everything.

How do you verify businesses?

We ask for proof of ownership: a business document, a phone confirmation at the listed number, or social media you control. It's a quick check and gives you the ✓ Verified badge.

What if a business is bad / a scam?

Every listing has a "Report inaccurate info" link. We investigate every report and remove listings that violate our standards.

Are you affiliated with the WhatsApp group?

Founder Mike runs the "Africans In The UK" WhatsApp community, which inspired this directory — but the directory is open to everyone, not just group members.
